A cover letter can also address any concerns such as gaps in employment or the reason for your interest in their company. Step 1- Tell the prospective employer what position you are applying for and how you heard of the opening.
Step 2- Convey to the employer briefly and honestly why your skills and abilities are parallel to the advertised position.
